About Us

SIERZANT (Sear - Zaunt) was my great grandparents last name when they resided in Poland.  When Nazi Germany invaded Poland, they escaped to Canada and eventually Milwaukee.  At that point, they changed their last name from Sierzant to Nowak to better blend in, as Nowak was the most common last name at the time.  Cheers to the dedication, hard work, and fortitude of all our ancestors that have built strong working families here in America!

Seth, Jake, and Joe have been playing soccer together for years and have talked about opening up a small, cozy wine bar for some time.  When this opportunity came up, we couldn't say no.  Being local residents of Cedarburg and Grafton, this also gave us the opportunity to give back to our community by hosting fundraisers for local organizations.  We Thank You from the bottom of our hearts!
